YET ANOTHER SPECIAL EDITION BUGATTI VEYRON IN PARIS 2012

Bugatti always seems to reveal “special editions” of its Veyron hypercar at every major international motor show. Yet, if you consider that each of the 300 Veyrons made costs over R21 million excluding charges like taxes, you may conclude that each is special anyway. Rightly so too.

But we’ll indulge Bugatti by calling this Grand Sport Vitesse a “Special Edition”, even though the only thing unique about it is that it’s coloured like the ocean, from the wheels up. They call the bottom “New Light Blue” and frankly we have no idea why they would even subject the wheels to its wrath. The new owner is Americanand has already paid for it in full.

Nevertheless anyone wielding a 16-cylinder, 4 turbo petrol engine worth a sensational 883kW can paint the damn body whatever colour they want. It will still be “OMG” in the eyes of the informed observer. That it can also do 410km/hon some remote PIGless road is cool too.
